The standard model, PaintCam EVE, acts as a vigilant guardian, firing paintballs at anyone who enters the designated restricted zone. It's a straightforward plug-and-play device.
Why EVE Standard was Created
Your property. Zero tolerance. EVE Standard treats every moving object as unauthorized — and marks it. An alarm system that doesn't just scream — it reacts.
High-Strength Polymer
Built tough. Stays tough.
Geometry-Based Detection
If it moves, it's marked.
Three Ways to Command
Fully autonomous. One-tap approval via app. Or hand it to your security team through the Monitoring Centre.
Always Your Rules
Whether you're watching or sleeping, EVE responds exactly how you decide.
How Eve Works
Detect
The system monitors your perimeter using advanced geometry-based motion detection to identify any moving object.
Warning Zone
Any detected movement first triggers a strict two-stage defense mechanism, starting with a non-active warning — laser pointer and audible alert urge the intruder to leave.
Action Zone
If the object breaches the inner Action Zone, the system either engages automatically or waits for your manual command via the app or monitoring center.
Your security,
your settings.
Customize PaintCam to your needs – from detection zones to response levels. Your preferences, your regulations. You decide.
The outer detection zone triggers clear audible and visual warnings. No projectiles are deployed here – this is the intruder’s last chance to leave before the system escalates. Think of it as the final notice: turn back now.
The zero‑tolerance zone. If an intruder continues into this critical area after repeated warnings, Eve switches to active defence mode without delay. The result: precise, immediate paintball marking – making sure the intruder is identified and deterred on the spot.

Fully compatible with iOS and AndroidEve FAQs
Eve Standard uses advanced geometry-based motion detection to identify any moving object within your defined security zones. The moment something enters the monitored area, the system activates — no complex setup required, just reliable perimeter protection out of the box.
Eve uses a strict two-stage defence system. First, the intruder enters the Warning Zone, where a laser pointer and audible alarm urge them to leave. If they ignore the warning and breach the inner Action Zone, Eve initiates the marking sequence — either automatically or after your manual approval via the app.
Yes. Eve Standard offers two dedicated control platforms. For personal and small-scale use, the PTC App (available on iOS and Android) gives you full remote control — live video feed, real-time push notifications, and the ability to authorise or cancel marking actions from anywhere. For professional security operations, the PTC Monitoring Centre is an enterprise-grade web-based platform that allows operators to manage multiple PaintCam devices simultaneously across various locations. When a threat is detected, the monitoring centre operator can choose the appropriate response: send an audible warning, deploy security personnel, call law enforcement, or activate the marking action directly. This level of response control is exclusively available through the Monitoring Centre.
In Autonomous Mode, Eve handles everything automatically — detect, warn, and mark — without requiring your input. In User Approval Mode, Eve detects and warns, then sends you a live notification so you can review the situation and decide whether to engage. You choose the level of control that suits you.
Yes. By selecting User-Confirmation Mode, you disable all automatic fire. When movement is detected, the system sends an instant pop-up notification to your device, allowing you to assess the live situation and manually authorise any action. Additionally, the PTC App features a dedicated Emergency Stop button that immediately halts all marking activity at any time — giving you absolute control, even mid-sequence.
Eve holds up to 25 biodegradable .68 calibre projectiles and has an effective marking range of up to 20 metres. You can choose from standard marking paintballs, PAVA & capsaicin deterrent rounds, or animal deterrence projectiles depending on your needs.
Eve Standard is housed in a lightweight yet durable high-strength polymer chassis, designed for easy handling and quick installation while still providing reliable outdoor performance. It carries an IP65 rating for dust and water jet protection.
Yes. With its IP65-rated polymer housing, Eve Standard is dust-tight and protected against water jets. It's built for reliable 24/7 outdoor operation in rain, wind, and varying temperatures from -10°C to 60°C.
Yes — Eve is designed for DIY-friendly installation, similar to high-end smart home cameras. Mounting hardware, instructions, and an intuitive app-guided setup are all included. For larger or more complex installations, we recommend certified installers.
No. All critical security functions work without any subscription. Eve supports local storage on a microSD card (up to 128 GB). A premium cloud option is available for those who want long-term storage, advanced analytics, and automatic software updates.
Eve supports ONVIF and RTSP protocols, so you can integrate the video feed into your existing NVR or Video Management Software. Full functionality works best with PaintCam's own software, but basic integration with third-party systems like Dahua or Hikvision is supported.
Very little. We recommend replacing the CO2 cartridge and cleaning the lens once a month. A barrel clean with specialised cleaning projectiles two to three times per year keeps everything running smoothly. That's it — no professional servicing required. However, for larger environments and more critical installations, we recommend professional maintenance by certified personnel. This is also included within some subscriptions.
